Shadiya is a broad-based artist who brings a sound that is a mixture of old school soul and new Neo-Soul attitude. She is an astonishing vocalist, songwriter, and producer, who more than holds her own in each category.
Her love of singing was inspired by such as Roberta Flack, Diana Ross, Billie Holiday, and many more. Her smooth and clear vocal style, albeit her own, has been compared to Erykah Badu, Sade, and Chante Moore.
Currently living in Connecticut, Shadiya stays active in the local music scene and has extended her credits to include performances in musical theater such as in the Off-Broadway plays "Loving' the Blues" and "Marginal Saints" . In addition to her theatrical background, she has also appeared in several television commercials and programs two of which were for AT&T and Comedy Central's "The Upright Citizen's Brigade". Shadiya's creative skills span from lyricist and jingle writing to the writer of original children stories.
Shadiya presently has two songs "It Takes Two" and "How I Feel "on the hit LA Smooth Radio Mix Volume 1 CD which is being sold on CDBaby.com. She can be found performing her hits in several venues throughout the state including for the comedy smash hit "It's Just Comedy", hosted by Kiss98.7's Talent, La Peach Production's huge Musical Festival, and several other events and venues. | Me,Meg and livi-Music Project-Amy Winehouse-Quarter to 12 - 213 sec Me meg and livi had to do a music project for school and we had to do so many takes cos we had loads f interuptions and we were so tired and kept laughing cos we were so excited to go to thorpe park the next day.
