this is a small image gallery about the story of imam Hussain AS, the grandson of prophet Mohamed AS.
to all my sunni brothers who still think to follow the ways of moses and fast/celebrate on ahura, i ask you this... if your parents died on the 10th of muharam, then on their aniversary next year, would you still celebrate ashura..?? probably not..!! as for why u still follow fasting/celebrating, explain this hadith please:
MUSLIM-------Book 006, Number 2510:
Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid said: When al-Ash'ath b. Qais entered the house of 'Abdullah he was having his breakfast. He ('Abdullah b. Umar) said: Abd Muhammad (al-Asha'th), come near to the breakfast. Thereupon he said: Is not today the day of 'Ashura? He ('Abd al-Rahman) said: Do you know what the day of 'Ashura is? He said: What is it? He said: It is a day on which the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) used to observe fast before the (fasting) in the month of Ramadan (became) obligatory. But when it became obligatory the (fasting of 'Ashura) was abandoned (as compulsory). Abu Kuraib said: He (the Holy Prophet) abandoned it. | Imam naik pentas PKR, dakwa diarah hadir sumpah Saiful - 506 sec kemaskini 1:50am Seorang imam Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan yang menyaksikan acara bersumpah laknat Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, mencipta kegemparan hari ini apabila berucap di atas pentas PKR dalam pilihanraya kecil Permatang Pauh.
Ramlang Porigi (foto, kiri) menjelaskan beliau telah diarahkan hadir di majlis sumpah pemuda itu pada 15 Ogos lalu, yang mendakwa diliwat oleh Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, calon PKR di kawasan parlimen itu.
Seperti penjelasannya kepada Malaysiakini Khamis lalu, Ramlang yang juga seorang ahli Umno di bahagian Bukit Mertajam bagaimanapun tidak menyatakan lebih lanjut pihak yang mengarahkannya berbuat demikian.
